Welcome

I’m glad you are here. My name is Jacqueline Ravel (she/her) and I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) specializing in working with trauma, relationships, and identity. I am experienced with and passionate about working with emerging adult-age people.

As someone who has struggled with both anxiety and depression, I come to my work with the compassion and insight of lived experienced. My experiences as a woman with ADHD also contributes to my therapeutic lens. Before becoming a counsellor I was a teacher, a writer, a circus performer, a wanderer, a truth seeker, a lover of words and language. I have lived in Japan, Spain, France, and the United States and speak English, French, and Spanish fluently.

I am a white, cisgender, neurodivergent human who loves dogs, making art, and discovering beautiful things.

I am a settler practicing on the unceded traditional and ancestral homelands of the xwməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Peoples.
